The ever popular Philippine singing band  RETrosPECT is in town ! Composed of professional singers J. Martin Castro , Ogie Ramos and Marigold "Goldie" Castro, the trio is performing at Prestige By Night , Dufferin & Finch Avenue West, North York, Toronto on March 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.

A 3- time national Aliw Awardee and Hall of Famer, RETrosPect is currently on world tour performing in selected cities in the Philippines, USA, Canada, Europe and United Arab Emirates. Tagged " Retroworld : Reunion Concert Tour 2016" , the band meets the local media at a lively press conference held at Cusina Lounge, Wilson Ave., North Yorkon March 3, 2016.

With 5 albums to their credits and performing mostly in cocktail lounges and hotel bars & restaurants for the past 19 years, RETrosPect is the recipient of the prestigious Aliw Award for being "Best Group Performers" in the Philippine music industry.

Presented by Jaro Productions, Rhythm Nation International and GodSpeed Music , the Toronto concert is produced by Joey Abrenilla of Q Code TV. Major corporate sponsors include: Cusina Lounge, FV Foods, Global Intergold, Great Smile, Modelo Clinic, NBI Express, Pinoy Radio, Q Code TV, Something Sweet, and with Filipinos Making Waves as media sponsor .

Fielding questions to the charming trio were members of Toronto press and community leaders that include : Tess and Mon Torralba of Waves News, Ariel Ramos, Larry Torres and Noel Perada of PPCO, Nestor Von Canton & DJ Flux of Pinoy Radio, Tony & Joy San Juan of Talakayan Radyo Filipino, and officers of PCCC led by Pepito Torralba and Bong Capitin.

Queried by Tess Torralba about their tour, lead singer J. Martin Castro said the " reunion is to reach out to their fans, friends and music lovers by performing modern and classical songs via a song- and -dance dressed up style" and backed up by cutting-edge sound technology . Asked by Tony San Juan, singers Goldie Castro and Ogie Ramos offered that with "their music ideology they combined their individualism into a cohesive performance of diverse genre of current and age-old ditties" .Recognizing and  answering also the question of former Original Hot Dog band member Mon Torralba about their music repertoire, the Band proudly cited that their "songs include ten per cent from their original compositions, and 90% OPM classics".

RETrosPECT obliged the evening's Meet-The -Press conference with its much - applauded signature song "Who Will" and the rendition of "Bakit Nga Ba ".  Aptly and ably hosted by the Concert producer Joey Abrenilla, the one- hour presscon - cum -dinner ended with a call for support of the RETrosPECT Concert Tour.
