The newly elected APCO Inc. Board for 2021-2022, L-R-Back Row-Joe Agostino, President Jhun Salazar, PRO Richard Ford, VP Jnr Larry Perez, Roberto Sacilotto, Linda Trinidad, Treasurer Edna Voros. The heavy downpour did not dampen the spirit and determination of members to attend the long awaited Annual General Meeting of the ALLIANCE OF PHILIPPINE COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS (APCO, INC.) on 20 March 2021, denied in 2020 due to the outbreak of Covid-19 Pandemic. The event was held at one of the Liverpool Library Conference Rooms, starting at 12.30pm, with lunch provided by a COSTCO Representative as part of COSTCO’s promotion.
The elections of 15 Director’s to the Board were held under the eyes of the Independent Electoral Scrutineer’s Rado Gatchalian and Remy Robinson, the other member Benjie de Ubago was unable to attend due to heavy rains. The election started as APCO members placed their votes for 15 Directors. The elected Directors have voted by Secret Ballot to select among themselves the Office Bearers to lead the organization for a two year term from 2021 to 2023.

In an effort to achieve unity, APCO Inc. reached out to the former Officers and Members of the “other” APCO faction to attend the elections, in fact, they were invited twice but no response was received. Despite all these, we are still hopeful that one day our longing for a united APCO will prevail.
