THE KNIGHTS OF RIZAL CANADA REGION 18TH COMMANDERS' BALL

Scarborough-November 2: The 18th Commanders' Ball of the Knights of Rizal Canada Region was  so successful with the combined efforts of  Sir Joe Damasco, KGOR, the incumbent regional commander of the Knights of  Rizal Canada and the immediate past regional commander, Sir Eduardo C. Prillo, KGOR with the strong support of the advisers which include Sir George R. Poblete, KGCR; Sir Lapulapu Cana, KGCR, Sir  Dr. Tom  Virey, KGOR, and Sir Jaime Marasigan, KGOR.

 The event was held on November 2, 2018 at the JC's Banquet Hall located at 1686 Ellesmere Road, Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. It was attended by officials and members of the different chapters of the Knights of Rizal in Toronto, Windsor, Montreal, Brampton, Toronto, and among others.Sir Eduardo C. Prillo, KGOR, headed the review of colour corps with Sir Frank Crawford kGOR, carrying the Philippine Flag, Sir Manny Yanga, KGOR, with Canadian Flag; Sir Dong  Mineque, KGOR, with Ontario Flag; Sir Felix de Luna, KGOR, with Quebec City Flag. Sir Roman Posadas, KCR was the right colour corp guard while Sir Ver Amante, KGOR, was the left colour corp guard.

The pledge to the flag was done by Sir Feberio Hangdaan, KOR; Sir Dean Garcia, KCR, led the recitation of Adhikain ni Rizal. Sir Mario Alpuerto, KGOR, the Rizal Canada deputy regional commander, delivered an inspirational message.

 

Consul Edwin Mendoza, KCR, of the Philipppine Consul General's Office was the guest speaker, He is a member of the Rizal Etobike Chapter.

Sir Eduardo C. Prillo, KGOR, recognized the outgoing regional council members and at the same time, installed officially the new officers of the Canada regional council officers.

 

Sir Richard Saldana, KCR, assisted by Kassandra Hangdaan, hosted the program while Ladies of Rizal Rose Dhaliwal, Celsa Pasmo, and Ana Moreno took care of the raffle for the door prizes.
