Lyn Mendoza is ‘Anghel ng Tahanan Canada’ 2014

          First runner-up was Lea Santiago who was also adjudged best in Cocktail Dress, received her crown from last year’s first-runner-up Ms. Jema Aquino-Dancel. Aside from her crown, Lea also received $300 cash, 1st runner-up trophy, sash, bouquet of flower; while 2nd runner-up Mitchie ‘Apple’ Janice Cutting also receive her crown from last years’ 2nd runner-up Lylane de Ocampo, $200 Cash, sash, trophy, bouquet of flower and other gift Certificates.

           All the eight finalists – Ever Mae Bernane, Joan D. Macaculop, Eldrige Franco, Marichu dela Cruz, Richel Biscayda, Lea Santiago, Mitchie Janice Cutting and Marilyn Mendoza – received Participants Trophy each donated by Ms. Agnes Miranda, VP of the World Financial Group (WFG)

           Senator Tobias Enverga, Jr., the pageant’s Keynote Speaker for four straight years now, congratulated all the Candidates for joining this event that could help them enhance their talents and build friendship with the Filipino community and thanked the organizers and the sponsors for their unconditional support to the Filipino caregivers here in the GTA and promise to do his best to help the OFWs in any way he can. Sen. Enverga came with his wife, Mrs. Rosemer Enverga, also a major sponsor of the Anghel ng Tahanan event since its inception in 2011.

        “We are also very grateful to all our Anghel family from 2011 to present who volunteered to help us make this pageant another success, to the wonderful entertainers who provided us and the audience with par excellence performances led, of course by our 2011 World COPA champion Gian Carlo Bobila who serenaded the Finalists; Ilocano Princess of songs Ms. Noraline Domingo; teen heartthrob Monarie Ocray, child singing sensation Britney Waito, upcoming prodigy Pearl Ducay and the Elite Dancers – Danna, Jerry and Jessica,” Co-producer Miguel Caducio  lamented.
