PHL EMBASSY REITERATES ADVICE FOR FILIPINOS IN YEMEN TO REGISTER FOR REPATRIATION
20 November 2014 – In view of the continuing political and security crisis situation in Yemen, the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh would like to reiterate its advise to all Filipinos to leave Yemen as soon as possible.
Yemen remains under Alert Level 3 (Voluntary Repatriation). A total deployment ban is imposed and all travels to Yemen, including those who are on vacation and returning to Yemen, will not be allowed.
All Filipinos who wish to avail of Voluntary Repatriation must signify their intention and immediately coordinate with the Crisis Management Team (CMT), based in Sana’a, for assistance. Filipinos should decide and arrange to leave Yemen immediately, and not later than 30 November 2014.
The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh urges all Filipinos in all cities and regions of Yemen to update their registration with the Embassy, or if they have not registered in the past, by accomplishing the registration form that could be downloaded from the website of the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh www.philembassy-riyadh.org
