Ako ay nanlulumo at lubos na nakikiramay sa sinapit ng mga mamamayan ng gitnang Visayas sa kararaan lamang na super bagyo na may katutubong pangalang Yolanda at Haiyan sa buong mundo. Mayroong 5.598 na tao and nasawi at mayroon pang 1750  ang nawawala at hindi pa nababatid ang kinahinatnan.

Tuwing sasapit ang buwan ng Nobiyembre, sumasagi sa aking ala-ala ang mga yumaong mahal ko sa buhay, lalo na ang aking namayapang amang. Ang pangalan niya ay Andres at may palayaw na Andi o Pandes.  Siya ay isang mangingisda na maituturing noong siya ay nabubuhay pa.  Siya ay dumadapit ng hipon sa isang palaisdaan ng isang mayamang may-ari na kanyangpinagmanenuhan at nabigyan siya bilang pabuya na manghuli o pumandaw ng hipon sa kanilang palaisdaan.  Binigyan din siya ng karapatan na manlumpot ng mga isdang lubog na kumakain ng binhing bangos at tanim na lumot na pagkain ng bangos. Ang isdang  lubog ay mga isdang galing sa dagat tulad ng bidbid, apahap, buwan-buwan at iba pa.

About the Author:

Full name is Venancio Del Pilar Faundo. Went to Hagonoy Elementary School, to San Jose Seminary for high school. Graduated with Bachelor of Science in Electrical engineering from Mapua in 1965 and passed board the same year.

Taught in Hagonoy Institue HighSchool and worked at US Naval Base in Design Div from 1967 till immigration to Canada in1976. Retired from Bombardier Aerospace in 2006.

Married to Winnie Pedagat and have three children. Hobby is bowling, golf and mahjong.

Present residence is Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
