In Australia, Christmas in July is a practice observed by migrants coming from Scandinavia, Europe, North America and others in the tradition of a cold, wintry, snowy white Christmas they used to have back home as Christmas in Australia comes in summer here, usually a hot humid day and spend in the beach or backyard.
APCO & APA in New South Wales, Australia Joined in the Celebration of 115 Years of Philippine Independence

Filipinos in many parts of the world collaborated in joining the Philippines in many different ways in the celebration of the Philippine Independence our heroes and ancestors fought, died and sacrificed for against the Spanish and ended colonization for almost 400 years.
 
The celebration this year marks the 115 years of independence from Spain and was celebrated by Filipinos who never forget where they came from and whose love of our old country the Philippines still steadfast in their hearts and souls.
The Alliance of Philippine Community Organisations, Inc. (APCO) in its fourth year of collaboration organized another Freedom Ball 2013 with the theme “ Share the Benefits of Freedom” on Monday, 10 of June at the Renaissance Events Centre, Lidcombe, NSW.
