ABS-CBN bags 4th consecutive win for Station of the Year

ABS-CBN, BIGGEST WINNER IN 26 th STAR AWARDS FOR TV

Quezon City, Philippines, November 19, 2012--ABS-CBN emerged as the most awarded TV network at the 26 th  PMPC Star Awards for Television Sunday night after the Kapamilya Network bagged 31 awards, including the Best TV station for the fourth consecutive year.

The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) also recognized broadcast journalist Tina Monzon-Palma with the Excellence in Broadcasting special award.  Monzon-Palma can be seen in “The World Tonight,” on ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC).

Dzmm.com.ph wins top prize in communication skills division; ABS-CBN wins 8 Quill Awards 

ABS-CBN Corporation won eight recognitions at the 11th Philippine Quill Awards where it bagged the most number of awards among TV networks, including the Top Award in Communication Skills division for DZMM.com.ph (http://dzmm.com.ph/). The total wins of ABS-CBN made it the 2nd runner-up in the race for the Philippine Quill Awards’ Company of the Year. 

Dzmm.com.ph, which bested all entries in the Philippine Quill's communication skills division, also received an Award of Excellence in the electronic and digital communication category for living up to the station's slogan of being the first to deliver news and public service to Filipinos through the world-wide web.
