THE 4TH CONFERENCE PAL- KALAYAAN VOLLEYBALL OPEN CUP 2017 IN JEDDAH

FIRST WIN FOR JUH-UGAFCO (MENS DIVISION) WITH TOMODACHI-KFAFH/ KAMC LADY SPIKERS & SAUDI GERMAN HOSPITAL (WOMENS DIVISION)
 

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – It is a fast and furious sport played on its 4th Conference PAL-Kalayaan Volleyball Open Cup 2017 show featured tons of athletic performances.

The big hit of the last 3 conferences continues and opens last October 6, 2017 (Friday) held in Trio Ranch & Country Club to run for another eight weekends with 6 women & 5 men teams.


Hon Vice Consul General SHEILA ALINSANGAN BRIONES with her husband graced the opening ceremony as chief guest of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah and a special message from H E Madam SAMEERA AZIZ also acknowledge our guest & sponsors from Philippine Airlines Mr. Syed Hamid Nayeem, SMDC’s Mr. Allan Murillo Castillo, OSN Executive Mr. Alex Cinco Sales, Nascol Supplies Co’s Executive Manager, Mr. Paul Antiporda, Pepsi Cola’s Representative Mr. Mohammed Sami, NWorld representatives Ms. Ashley Daye Jao & Ms. Nancy Bayani, with Sky Freight Forwarders, Indomie, Giordano & Baytoti representatives.

As this volleyball tournament continuous, opening day trophies awarded as follows:


Four games were played last Friday starts with JUH-UGAFCO brought down SAUDI GERMAN HOSPITAL in men’s division scored a straight sets of 25-11/ 25-6.  TOMODACHI-KFAFH scored 25-21 / 25-21 victory over the SAUDI GERMAN HOSPITAL in women’s division, second game. KAMC LADY SPIKERS emerged straight away winner in match against ADAM’S ANGELS with scores: 17-25 / 25-18 / 15-9 on the third game. The trend may have already begun when SAUDI GERMAN HOSPITAL reach its first win against the MAKKAH TERMINATORS with scores 25-21 / 25-19 on the last game of the first elimination round.

The tournament is organized by Dreamstar Productions for Sports & Events under the leadership of Al Moran Bacleon and supported by sponsors PHILIPPINE AIRLINES, SMDC, OSN, NASCOL SUPPLIES CO., PEPSI COLA, NWORLD, SKY FREIGHT FORWARDERS, INDOMIE, GIORDANO & BAYTOTI.

The 6 women teams entered are: ADAM’S ANGELS, INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, KAMC LADY SPIKERS, MAKKAH TERMINATORS, SAUDI GERMAN HOSPITAL & TOMODACHI-KFAFH.

The 5 men teams entered are: INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, JEDDAH BLUE SPIKERS, JEDDAH UNITED HITTERS-UGAFCO, SAUDI GERMAN HOSPITAL & TOMODACHI.

The Kalayaan Volleyball Cup Committee would like to express its thanks and appreciation to Trio Ranch & Country Club Manager Antonio Peruzzi for their generous support to make the 4th Conference PAL-KVC opening a success.

Lagrimas (Technical Adviser) Edgar Zantua (Logistic Officer)/ Harold Amper (Tournament Commissioner)/ Alex Sales (Independent Adviser) with our official catering services Triple J Kitchenette, Master of Ceremony Paul Antiporda, Jhun Abris, Chaiman of FAME with opening judges from Yanbu, Mr. John Rey Llanes Lachica & Mr. Melvin Matanos and NWORLD Coach Ashley Jao and Nancy Bayani.

In coming Friday games, we are going to see some very exhilarating moments and encourage everyone to enjoy it.  Fun & excitement are guaranteed.
