Pagpupugay sa Wikang Filipino, Dugong Kayumanggi, Pinangunahan ng Pasuguan ng Pilipinas sa Riyadh

Umani ng malaking papuri mula sa ibat-ibang samahan ng mga Overseas Filipinos, miyembro ng akademya at mga panauhing pandangal ang nagdaang pagdiriwang ng ‘Buwan ng Wika at Araw ng mga Bayani’ na isinagawa ng Pasuguan ng Pilipinas sa Riyadh na ginanap sa King Faisal Foundation Auditorium sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa’t pamumuno nina Charge d’ Affaires, Iric C. Arribas, a.i.,at  First Secretary and Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal.


Nagbigay ng magagandang mensahe para sa pagdiriwang ang dalawang opisyales ng Embahada na sina Third Secretary and Vice Consul Von Ryan S. Ferrera at Third Secretary and Vice Consul Noel L. Rodriguez.

Kabilang sa walong Philippine international schools na nagtanghal ang mga sumusunod na paaralan mula sa Riyadh katulad ng:

a.     Al Dannah International School;
b.    Al Taj International School;
c.     Elite International School;
d.    Future Generation Philippine International School;
e.     International Philippine School in Riyadh; at
f.      Riyadh International School.


Nagtanghal din ang Al Andalus International School at International Philippine School in Al Khobar mula sa Eastern Province.

Ang bawat paaralan ay ginawaran isa-isa ng pagkilala ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa kanilang napakahusay na pagtatanghal.    

Ilan sa mga dumalong panauhin ay binubuo ng samahan ng Order of the Knights of Rizal na pinamunuan ni Ginoong Restituto S. Sibug, na isa rin sa mga naging kritiko ng gabing ‘yon, mga panauhing performers tulad nina Princess Nadia Abidin mula sa Riyadh International School at mga guro mula sa Al Taj International School na sina G. Esra Nicolo B. Antonio at Mark Louis D. Aguilar at mula sa International Philippine School in Riyadh na si G. Junie Constantino.

Ang mga lupon ng mga kritiko na kinabibilangan nina Gng. Rhea S. Rodriguez, Gng. Marinel Ricafort,   G. Art Capulong at J. Nava Cruz.  Nagbigay suporta naman sa nasabing pagdriwang ang Jollibee, Philippine Airlines G. Carlos Bihag (Interfaces Gold Advertising), G. Noel Raz ng Weng’s Flower and Design Cooperative, at sina G. Marjo Suvisor at at G. George Pontino, Jr. ng Hagod Filipinas bilang eklusibong videographer-photographer. Naging punong-abala naman sa nasabing pagtatanghal si Cultural Attaché & Officer Gloria Jean Castano-Zafra.  

 Sa kasalukuyan at habang sinusulat ang lathalaing ito, patuloy ang pagsakay ng libo-libong Pinoy  sa “OFW Bandwagon’ kasabay sa patuloy na pagdami ng mga Pinoy immigrants na tunay na nagiging makapangyarihang instrumento para mamayagpag ang Wikang Filipino kasama ang kultura at sining nating mga Pinoy, na sa makabagong panahon ay tuluyan nang niyakap at pinilit na matutunan nang napakaraming banyaga.  Sa kaway nang makapabagong teknolohiya at karisma ng mga Filipino, tuluyang pumapailanlang sa buong mundo ang Wikang Filipino.  Kung saan kasama ang bawat Pasuguan ng Pilipinas sa bawat panig ng mundo sa pagbibigay pugay sa Lahing Pinoy at Pambansang Wika  tulad nang ginawang pagtatampok ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Riyadh bitbit ang tema at pagtatanghal ng ‘Wikang Mapagbago’:  Ang Wikang Filipino
