ANNUAL AWARDS and APPRECIATION NIGHT FOR TALAMAK GOLF and LBC

By Dindo Orbeso
Scarborough-Canada
November 2, 2016

It was an awesome night of fun and glitter for the members and friends of the Talamak Golf club, as it celebrated the end of its golf season with its Annual Awards & Appreciation (Triple-A) Night at the banquet hall of the Remington Parkview Golf & Country Club in Scarborough.

The event highlighted the members’ accomplishments, not only in the field of golf, but also in various socio-civic activities engaged in by the club, alongside with the its corporate partner and sponsor, LBC Express, the Philippines’ premier cargo-forwarding and money-remittance company.

Trophies and medals were awarded to the winners of the 2016 major tournaments, while those who contributed to Talamak’s numerous successful endeavors were recognized with plaques of appreciation, gifts and honorariums.  Present in the awarding ceremonies were LBC Country Head, Raffy Policarpio, and Marketing Director, Mon Solis.

These LBC executives have committed to continue with their sponsorship and support, particularly when Talamak hosts the prestigious 7th GTA Interleague Golf Tournament in June 2017.

The Triple-A gathering lasted until past midnight, long after the members have strained their vocal chords due to continuous dancing and sing-alongs.  The night’s hilarious and high-wired emcees,

Billy Salonga and Allan Abellanosa were one in saying that this particular annual event embodied what the club stands for – friendship, fun, sportsmanship, civic-mindedness and family bonding.
