TO: THE FILIPINO COMMUNITY IN BELGIUM, NETHERLANDS AND LUXEMBOURG

Dear Sir/Madam,
Warm Greetings!

The Council of Filipino Associations in Flanders (COFAF) with the participation of Mabuhay Friends Club Belgium and Fil-Bel groups and the cooperation of the Philippine Embassy and Consulate, will celebrate the 118th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence on June 12, 2016 at the Beurshal in Brugge.

A Eucharistic celebration will preempt this event at 10.30 to be followed by lunch. Opening the afternoon program at 13.30 hours will be a parade of Filipino culture to be continued until 19.00 hours with the reading of the Philippine Independence message and delivery of inspirational
speeches, cultural presentations, Asian Pageant for Alternative with talent show of varied nature and tombola/raffle draws.

In this event we also hope to increase the public’s awareness of the 70th Philippine-Belgium relationship which we are also celebrating this year.
As always, this fund-raising event is for COFAF’s annual Donate-a-Classroom project with La Carlota City in Negros Occidental as the PIC2016 beneficiary. As per DEPED Officer-in-Charge ,

Negros Occidental is in need of 1 this year in order to accommodate the increase in the number of pupils following the K12-program which the Philippine Education system has adopted.

The future of the Filipino youth has always been a great concern to COFAF making its investment in the education of the Filipino children through the Donate-a-Classroom project as its annual priority (2008 Pitugo-Bohol, 2009 Zamboanga-Sibugay, 2010 Mulu-Muluan-Zamboanga City, 2011 Tominjao-Cebu, 2012 New Mabuhay-General Santos, 2014 Talairon-Oroquieta City, and 2015 Mexico-Pampanga with attached Deed of Donation).

COFAF enjoins fellow organizations and individual members of the Filipino community to be active in the solution of the shortage of classroom in the Philippines. We invite you to be a:

1) SPONSOR – Advertisement and greetings to be published (B/w or colored) in the PIC2016 souvenir magazine. Sponsor rates: ½ page @ €60 and Full page @ €100.

2) BOOTH HOLDER – a 3X3 sqm commercial space for private enterpricing/information. See
attached Booth Contract.

3) TOMBOLA SELLER/BUYER and be a winner of a roundtrip ticket to the Philippines.

In anticipation of a positive response, we respectfully request the submission of your advertisement in .jpeg format not later than May 20, 2016 together with your financial support to be remitted in FilCom Belux account (IBAN) BE66 9792 4897 3743, (BIC) ARSPBE22.

In behalf of the Council, please accept my sincerest regards and best wishes for the continued success in all your endeavors and looking forward to your favorable response and presence in Beurshal on June 12, I remain.

Very truly yours,
