Rizal Canada Region Holds Regional Meeting

The Knights of Rizal Canada Region headed by Sir Jaime T. Marasigan, KGOR, the incumbent regional  commander, continue in strengthening the Rizal movement in this part of the world thus propagating the teaching of the Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal in coordination with the different chapters.

On March 24, 2016 (Wednesday), the KOR regional meeting continue to discuss the forthcoming Supreme Council election for the Rizal year 2016 - 2018 including the election of the diffrent chapters in the region and the payment of memberhip dues and encouraging the members to transform their memberships into lifetime.

It was discussed during the meeting about the recommendation of new members in the regional council for the Rizal Year 2016-2018.

In addition, the KOR Canada Region will push through other ways in raising funds for operations of the association for the next years to come.

The Rizal Canada region is also pursuing the establishment of more chapters in the Canada Region and at the same time, the recruitment of more members in the different  Knights of Rizal Chapters.
On the other hand, Sir Ed Prillo, KGOR, Rizal deputy Regional Commander, also reported the state of the finances of the Knights of Rizal Canada Region. (St. Jamestown News Service)*********
