Sir Nico was Knighted by Rizal Canada

Rizal Dimasalang Chapter held their re-organizational meeting and initiation ceremonies  in Scarborough recently. Sir Nico Valenton was knighted by Sir Jaime Marasigan, KGOR.  Sir Eduardo Prillo conducted the initiation ceremonies with his degree team of Sir Jojo Taduran, Jr., KCR, Sir Mario Alpuerto, KCR, Sir Mauro (Jun) Calaguio, KCR, Sir Noel Sinlao, together with Chapter Commander Sir Wilfred Gomez, KCR and Sir George R. Poblete, KGCR.


Sir Nico Valenton, son of Dr. Cecilia V. Polete, and grandson of Sir George and Lady Dolly Poblete, is presently completing his civil engineering studies at the University f Toronto and   has done his engineer's internship. An active engineering student, he is a Director of the U of T Engineering Society, Vice President of the Engineering Class, Past President of the Engineering Club and the Engineeering Photography/ Video Club.  

5th Canada Region Assembly - Oct. 9-11,2015
Sir Wilfred also mentioned that Sir Noel Sinlao will represent the Dimasalang Chapter in the upcoming 5th Canada Region Assembly, together with Dimasalang chapter kinghts Sir George R. Poblete, KGCR, Sir Eduardo Prillo, KGOR,  Sir Mario Alpuerto, KCR and Sir Jojo Taduran, KCR.   Sir Nico Valenton, KR, will be the Dimasalang Chapter delegate to the 5th CRA Youth Conference on October 10, 2015 at Sheraton/Best Western Parkway Hotel.

Sir Mario Calaguio, KCR of Canada Region  and co-chairman of the 5th CRA,  briefed the knights present on the schedule of activities in the upcoming Canada Region Assembly and Commanders Ball  at Sheraton/ Best Western Parkway Hotel, Toronto North.
Region Commander Sir Jaime Marasigan, KGOR, mentioned that Supreme Commander Sir Jerry Singson, KGCR, and his Supreme Council from Manila, and a hundred delegates from the U.S, Arab Republic, Montreal, Windsor and Winnipeg, are coming to join the knights of  Central Canada.  Canada Commanders are encourage to participate in this 5th CRA.
