PHL FOURTH GRADERS WIN GOLD AT SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL MATH OLYMPIAD CHALLENGE 2015


 
 


24 August 2015 – Two Grade 4 pupils from the Philippines placed a distinction for receiving gold awards at the Singapore International Mathematics Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) on August 16.



Contestants had to answer 25 questions in 90 minutes. SIMOC 2015 followed the Singapore and Asian Schools Mathematics Olympiad (SASMO 2015), which took place in April 2015. SASMO was held in each participating country, and winners compete at SIMOC




PHL EMBASSY JOINS UP ALUMNI ASSOCIATION IN SINGAPORE DURING BARRIO FIESTA AND FAMILY DAY 2015



28 August 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Singapore, headed by Ambassador Antonio A. Morales, joined the University Alumni Association in Singapore (UPAAS) during their Barrio Fiesta and Family Day event at the East Coast Park in Singapore on August 22.

The Barrio Fiesta is intended to draw awareness to UPAAS’ charitable activities including its scholarship program for deserving students in the Philippines.

During the event, Ambassador Morales thanked UPAAS for its consistent support to the Philippine Embassy and for its social consciousness in helping fellow Filipinos.

Ika-28 ng Agosto 2015 – Sa pangunguna ni Career Minister at Consul General Maria Lourdes M. Salcedo, inilatag ng Pasuguan sa mga bagong-halal na pinuno ng [email protected], ang organisasyon ng mga Pilipino sa Myanmar, ang binalangkas nitong Contingency Plan para sa Myanmar noong ika-23 ng Agosto.
 
Ibinahagi ni Career Minister at Consul General Salcedo ang mga paghahandang ginagawa ng Pasuguan sakaling magkaroon ng sakuna o gulo sa Myanmar. Hinikayat niya ang mga pinuno ng [email protected] na magpatala sa Pasuguan at tumulong sa pagkalat ng impormasyon ukol sa naibalangkas na Contingency Plan.

Ani Gng. Olivia De Guzman, ang bagong-halal na Pangulo ng [email protected], tutulong ang organisasyon sa pagpili ng mga area coordinators na maaaring tawagan sakaling magkaroon ng sakuna o kaguluhan sa Myanmar. Kanya ring ibinahagi ang kanyang naging karanasan noong magkagulo sa bansang kanyang pinagtatrabahuhan.

Taunang nirerebisa ng Pasuguan ang binalangkas nitong Contingency Plan.

Hinihikayat ang mga Pilipino sa Myanmar na magpatala sa Pasuguan at subaybayan ang social media account ng Pasuguan kung saan ibinabahagi ang mga mahahalagang abiso galing sa Pasuguan.
