The Philippine Fiesta of Victoria (Australia) Miss and Mrs Beauty and Charity Quests candidates

By Manny Asuncion
Melbourne, Australia
July 8, 2015

Fiesta is not complete without beauty competitions. The beauty queens are the toasts  of the Fiesta. Everybody is looking forward to the coronation night wherein the most beautiful candidate becomes reigning  queen.

It’s really a nervous-wrecking night,  but despite the  agonizing moment, the candidates have to keep their  cool and anxiety,  and look as if they're  enjoying every minute of it.

With head up high, they sashay onto the stage with confidence and enthusiasm’ Answering questions thrown into them at moment’s  notice.

At last after all of this, everything will come to normal.  The months of practicing the catwalk,  photo sessions, interviews, campaigning to family and friends  and even strangers, endless fitting of clothes and gowns, the perpetual smiles. And all the works.

Such is the  life of  a candidate. The confidence. The friendship. The camaraderie. The excitement of being the cynosure of all eyes. All but mixed memories after the coronation.
