Rizal Scarborough Chapter prepares 154th birthday celebration of  Filipino national hero Dr. Jose P, Rizal in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

The men and women of the Scarborough Chapter of the Order of the Knights
of Rizal are busy preparing for the forthcoming celebration of the 154th birthday of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the Philippine national hero.

The said Rizal Scarborough Chapter is now undergoing the cleaning and planting plants within the area where the monument of Dr, Rizal is located at the Earl Bales Park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Sir Emmanuel Yanga, KCR, OKOR's deputy area commander and immediate past chapter commander of the Scarborough Chapter, KCR,  incumbent Rizal Scarborough Chapter Commander, Sir Aristeo Mondragon, KCR ; Sir Virgilio Amante,KCR, deputy chapter commander, are closely coordinating with the other officers, members and ladies, of the said chapter in order to give more life to the birthday celebration of Dr. Rizal.

Philippine Consul General Rizalita S. Prospero, who has officially assumed the position some few days ago was officially invited Sir. Emmanuel Yanga, KCR, to grace the historial event.

Also invited is Sir Lamberto C. Nanquil, KGCR, former Rizal Supreme Commander and chairman of the OKOR Council of Elders.

The wreath laying ceremonies is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. and to be followed by a
program proper at the Earl Bales Community Center at 6:30 p.m.
