OKOR Scarborough Chapter to host Dr. Jose P. Rizal 154th birthday celebration with fitting ceremonies at Toronto's Earl Bales Park

The Order of the Knights of Rizal Scarborough Chapter will host the 154th birthday celebration of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the Philippines national hero, in a fitting ceremonies infront of his statue at Earl Bales Park, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, according to Sir Emmanuel (Manny) Yanga,KCR,  deputy area commander, Toronto East and immediate past chapter commander of Rizal Scarborough Chapter and incumbent Chapter Commander Aristeo (Bert) Mondragon, KCR.

According to Yanga and Mondragon the historical event will be participated in by all the OKOR Chapters in Toronto and the Rizal Ladies associations in the City of Toronto namely the Kababaihang Rizalista, inc. headed by Lady Araceli (Rose) V. Cruz; the Aspirations of Rizal with Lady Lynette G. Perez as president; and Lady Odette Virey, president of the Ladies of the Knights of Rizal - Canada.

It was further stated that after the wreath laying there will be a program which will give emphasis on the peaceful reforms done by the Philippine national hero, Dr. Rizal, during the time when Spain colonized the Philippines.

The birthday celebration of Dr. Rizal will be held throughout the world with the Order of Knights of Rizal men and ladies leading the historical gatherings headed by OKOR Supreme Commander Sir Jeremias (Jerry) Singson.
