Behind the Scenes with Kapatid TV5 Stars & Toronto’s Local Talent

On Friday August 15th 2014, Kapatid TV5 stars Derek Ramsay, Arnell Ignacio and Gelli De Belen attended a press conference at the Delta Toronto East hotel in Toronto, Ontario prior to their much anticipated concert as the main attraction of the Filipinas Expo and Multicultural Trade show the following night.
The Filipinas Expo and Multicultural Trade Show was held all day on August 16th 2014 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Lighting up the stage were Toronto’s local singers and the finalists of Vehnee Saturno’s Star Ka Na singing competition who battled it out one last time for the ultimate grand prize - a chance to launch their singing career in the Philippines. Mae Janelle Berte won a contract to record an original song specially composed by Vehnee Saturno.
