COFAF did it again !!

By Minabelle Siason

Sat 20th August 2011

Did we reach our goal of raising the equivalence of 10,000 US dollars for our CGMA (classroom) PIC-2011-Brugge project for Tominjao Elementary School?

Thanks to our sponsors, tombola and chocolate sellers and buyers, supporters and the perseverance of Philippine Independence Celebration-Brugge (PIC2011-Brugge) organizers and assistance from members of Filipino-Belg community of West-Flanders, the Council of Filipino Associations in Flanders DID IT AGAIN!
A Pledge of Donation will be submitted to the Philippine Embassy in the near future and the Deed of Donation will be signed during the PIC-Brugge next year.
Of course, as tradition dictates, PIC organizers and assistants were treated to a lechon during their pot-luck picnic in the dunes of Raversijde in Oostende last July 24.

    Julia Carreon-Lagoc

My daughter Randy Raissa Lagoc-Dingus turns 55 on March 11, 2018. I have no better idea of a birthday gift than to reminisce and share an aspect in a young woman’s life that happened 25 years ago — an incident that showed innate confidence, courage, conviction. And most importantly, compassion in the doctor-to-be. Read on:...
