They were once residents of The Netherlands in 1973 - 1976, employed by Berghaus BV for three years as contract workers in its coat factory in Amsterdam and Wehl in the Achter Hoek.

After finishing their contract, most of the girls migrated to Winnipeg - Manitoba, Canada to work for Silpit Industries.

Some of them opted to stay in The Netherlands.

Last August 11, the group had a mini-reunion in Winnipeg in celebration of the 60th birthday of Espie Oliveros Ramos, one their social workers during their Berghaus years, as well as a welcome party for Gie del Rosario who came all the way from The Netherlands to join the celebration.
